A DNA paternity home test is for personal knowledge only. This type of test cannot be used for legal purposes. The test includes 1 alleged father, 1 child, and the child’s mother if she is available for testing. Testing without the mother may cause a delay in the test. It is sometimes necessary to perform additional testing when the mother is not included. Additional children and alleged fathers may be added to the test (see below). Be advised that $100 of the payment is set aside as a deposit and is non-refundable in the event that the test is canceled.
